Within a development-focused studio, the site is in the heart of Long Island City, next to the Queens Borough Plaza. Proposed is a large multi-story retail space, with greenhouses for new hydroponic farming and 22 floors of luxury condominiums.
The revenue from the residential tower will help fund the initial investment for a fully functional hydroponic farm; while providing amenities for residents such as views of Manhattan skyline, outdoor gardening space, retail for the neighborhood, and cultivating an identity in LIC.
