Including the first large public plaza hosting semi-permanent art installations on the “Art Plinth.” The design includes large planter beds that cover the first public bathrooms on the High Line and facilities.
Tight coordination between multiple parties, stakeholders, and agencies was a constant demand with a job site over 30 feet above the public pedestrian and vehicular traffic. The design included two new stairs up to Spur, one landing on the 10 Hudson Yards plaza, while concurrent construction was happening.
A complex design was achieved with complex site logistics.
